I work in performance-focused IT consulting, using Linux, Oracle Database, SQL and data analysis to investigate technical problems. The work calls for careful measurement, stress testing, prioritisation and turning dense evidence into something people can act on.
Research Assistant

My first proper research: combining physics simulation with machine learning to study liquid-crystal skyrmions. Where I learned that a good measurement beats a good guess every time.
